.:: PMR ReSuLT ::.

My PMR Results: 7A's

God I was so freaked out when they announced Priya's name because I thought after the letter 'P' there definitely wasn't a possibility that 'L' would come after that...

However, I forgot something very important.
Priya's a KT student and therefore, her name would be classified with the guys (who all take KT for KH and are always on top of the name list)

So, my name was announced after all... Thank God! Arigatou Kami-sama!

.:: The GOLDEN Compass - a movie you should really watch at The GOLDEN Screen Cinema ::.

When asked, "Want a stuffed polar bear?"
MY ANSWER:

Of course I want one! Who doesn't?!
Bear, bear, are you there?
You are THE ONE THING I definitely won't share,
Bear, bear, where art thou'?

You are on my MUST-HAVE list now

THE GOLDEN COMPASS

WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT THIS MOVIE?
Well, here's a little piece of my mind with a few pictures I got from browsing the web.

The Golden Compass holds a big significance to me because it was aired in Malaysia on MY BIRTHDAY. One point there.

Anyway, I'm not going to summarise the movie and accidentally give spoilers, but take my word for it, it's definitely worth watching.

Lyra Belacqua (above)

Lyra Belacqua's your main character in this show. Her DAEMON (pronounced demon) is Pantalaimon. In their world, everyone has a daemon, which is actually their souls. One cannot be separated very far from their daemons. (A small exception to witches, though) What your daemon feels, you feel and the same thing the other way round. The golden compass refers to a device they created, also known as the alethiometer. This device allows you to find out the truth, but only one will be able to read it. The Magisterium (alike the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter) feared the power of Dust (some magical unexplained phenomena that flows through you from your daemon and at the same time connects universes together) and destroyed all the alethiometers, except for one.

(An alethiometer)

Lyra manages to get an alethiometer, a gift from the Jordan college to her. It appears like your normal compass, golden in color, but with three arrows and a lot of small pictures at the sides. Only Lyra is able to read it.

What I like most about this movie is the DAEMONS. You just feel like getting a pet afer watching this movie. My two favourite daemons are Pantalaimon (Lyra's daemon, Pan for short) and Stelmaria,Lord Asriel's (Lyra's uncle) daemon, in the shape of a snow leopard. Daemon will be able to change forms at first before they finally decide on a form, which symbolises the change of the child to an adult-to-be. I've always been a great fan of big felines, and Stelmaria is no exception. Pan's voice is unsurprisingly cute.

(Serafina Pekkala & Lee Scoresby)

(Iorek Byrnison & Lyra Belacqua)

Also, Serafina Pekkala, leader of the witches caught my attention. She has got to be the prettiest lady I have ever seen. She is a graceful and elegant leader and often has a smile on her face, giving you this warm feeling. Lee Scoresby also captures attention with his impresive accuracy. His hare / rabbit daemon is also adorable. Iorek Byrnison, an armoured bear (also a polar bear) is also undeniably ADORABLE. He has such a briliant name and I love pronouncing it. He fights well and is very dependable. I MOST DEFINITELY WANT a polar bear!!

Owh and did I mention that deaths in this movie are really cool? (Nope, I'm not insane) It's just that when the human dies, their daemons burst into dust, making it look cool and beautiful at the same time.

In a nutshell, Philip Pullman has given me the BEST birthday present ever and I hope that I can receive the next two movies for my future birthdays! Don't fret, or you will regret. You just HAVE TO watch The Golden Compass, cause its great!

.:: aTaSHi uMaReTa No Hi ::.

Mood: As long as it rains, I have nothing to complain about. Overjoyed that monsoon season is here.
Post tittle's translation? The Day I Was Born.
Anyway, as some of you might have guessed, or known, my birthday was two days ago. At midnight, lots of people wished me and I am thankful for that. It's good to know someone cares ^^ Thanks everyone!
A week before my birthday, my brother came back from KL and took us out. Me, my younger sis and younger bro went out to watch two movies. First was BEE MOVIE and then ENCHANTED. I loved ENCHANTED! It was so FUNNY, especially when she sings, "How does she know?" in the park. Hilarious. We also went to the beach! Yay! I love the sea! It's so... mystically beautiful. And the songs the waves makes just reaches your heart, you know? It's so full with emotion, its pleasing to listen to.
After he went back the next day, (well, he's a busy person, can't blame him) I suddenly got inspiration to write a story. Yes, I take a long time before finishing one and I come up with a lot of unfinished ones. Just thought I ought to write it down before I forget. Well, most of my stories come from real scenes that I have gone through in my dreams, which I can remember clearly, but since it's a pity if I forget them, I'd best write them out immediately. This time, the tittle of my story's "Wings ; The First Feather".
The summary of the story, well, I haven't completed it yet, so let's just keep that in store for the future. Once again, I thank God for giving me wonderful dreams that inspire me.
On my birthday, me, my sis and some friends went out for breakfast. Then, we walked across the street to buy tickets for the movie: GOLDEN COMPASS. I have been waiting since Rattatouile came out to watch this movie when I saw this lovely corner dedicated to it in Midvalley. Unfortunately, the first book is no longer for sale, not here, at the very least, but I strongly recommend all of you to watch it. Serafina Pekkala is so beautiful! And I love Lyra's daemon, Pantalaimon. I want a daemon of my own!
NOTE: Daemon is pronounced as 'demon'
And when we were on the way to go into the cinema, guess who we saw? Gaaya was telling me that the girls in front of us looked familiar and when I looked, it was actually Syahrul and his two gfs. Well, no real necessity to comment about it. Anyway, after that movie I had to rush straight to ballet class. It's not like I hate ballet, but 8 years under a teacher that scolds you for almost every reason in the world kinda makes you dislike it.
The next day, when Mum came back from KL, we went out to eat Teppanyaki. It was delicious¬!!! Me and Pink were free to go anime browsing in the mall. Owh, and I finished watching Kaze No Stigma. Kazuma is so COOL!! I love the wind!
And Yakitate Ja-pan (69 episodes) I had finished watching earlier is one of the funniest anime I have seen. I recommend it as well. Pierrot Bolneze is one of the coolest pierrots on earth!
NOTE: Pierrot means 'clown' in Japanese.
I especially love it when he repeats the fact that he is a "SEKAI-LEVEL PIERROT" (Word level clown) Just plain amazing. And Kuroyanagi's reaction's are beyond imagination. Kanmuri Shigeru, a genius much like Ryuu Amakusa (Tantei Gakuen Q) has captured my heart.
Well, to conclude, it was a great birthday. Thanks everyone!! ^^

.:: FuTaKoi // TWiN LoVe...? VS SiSTeR PRiNCeSS::.

Mood: Happy after finishing yet another beautifully done anime.
Okay, I simply translated the title from instinct,
and it appears that I was right. Cool.

Anyway, judging by the graphics, the characters and the non-bombastic storyline, I'm guessing the creator must be the same as Sister Princess or close to it...

Apparently, after searching Wikipedia,
It was created by Sasaki Muzumi...

Looks like I was wrong this time.
Sister Princess was created by Sakurako Kimino

And as I have nothing but time on my hands...
I'm going to do a not-very-detailed comparison between these two as I couldn't help it while watching the show.

SOME VERY NOTICEABLE SIMILARITIES

Futakoi has a total of 13 episodes while Sister Princess has 26. (13 X 2)

Both series have a sequel, Futakoi Alternative and Sister Princess RePure.

In Futakoi, Nozomu encounters 6 pairs of twins, in other words, 12 girls while in Sister Princess, Wataru has 12 sisters. (not counting in the pretend one)

In both series, the main character's mother is gone and the dad is someplace else.
Both series takes place at their hometowns, although different places, and they both return from Tokyo.

In both series, Wataru and Nozomu each has a "best friend" that envies them A LOT for being sorrounded by girls.

THE DIFFERENCE?

Wataru is rich and Nozomu is so-so.

Wataru is good in studies and helps out his sisters. Nozomu needs help from his twin friends.

Wataru's not THAT interested in girls. Nozomu clearly IS.

And the OP songs?

Sister Princess' OP is LOVE DESTINY has a catchy tune, sounds a little sad and yet, is a beautiful song, symbolically representing the sister's love for their ONLY brother.

On the other hand, Futakoi's OP is HABATAKU MIRAI. If I were to translate that, it would mean soaring future... or something like that. This one is a truly encouraging song.

SUMMARY

FUTAKOI - Nozomu Futami returns to the town where he was born and raised as a child. He moves in near a shrine which houses a legendary stone that was rumoured to have been the place where twin girls turned into birds. The stone is rumoured to be the cause of an abundance of twin girls who are born in the town. The twins who turned into birds did so because of their love for a man whom couldn't choose between them. Shortly after Nozomu enters town he begins to run into the same problems as five pairs of twins fight for his love.

SISTER PRINCESS - Wataru is forced to transfer to a school at an island that he roughly remembers being in when he was young. There, staying in a mansion, he finds out he has 12 loving, adorable sisters with all-different personalities.

Futakoi
(From top left) Ichijou sisters (Kaoruko & Sumireiko), Sakurazuki sisters (Kira & Yura), Hinagiku sisters (Lala & Lulu), Futami Nozomu, Chigusa sisters (Ui & Koi), Shirogane sisters (Sojyu & Sara) and the Momoi sisters (Mai & Ai)

Sister Princess

(From top left) Kaho (花穂), Shirayuki (白雪), Chikage (千影), Marie (鞠絵), Haruka (春歌), Yotsuba (四葉), Rinrin (鈴凛), Hinako (雛子), Mamoru (衛), Aria (亞里亞) and Sakuya (咲耶)

And...the main character, Minakami Wataru (海神 航)
And since I'm mentioning names... Well, Kaho is a gardener, Shirayuki's a cook, Chikage's great at Tarot and the supernatural, Marie's weak at health but great in books, Haruka's your perfect traditional Japanese, Yotsuba's a detective, Rinrin's the ultimate mechanic and technology whiz, Hinako's a small child..?, Mamoru's an athlete, Aria's a well-mannered, timid and shy English-styled lady and Sakuya's great at fashion. That's like having 12 careers in one family.
And if I were to compare the two animes in terms on rating,
Sister Princess is better. However, I don't know about the sequels, I hear that Sister Princess Repure isn't as nice... After watching, I'll put it on another VS post.
And now... on to watch Yakitate Ja-Pan!
And after that Nagasarete Airatou...

.:: Koi Wa NaNi? ai Ga eieN...? // MY ReFLeCTioN ::.

Koi wa nani? Ai ga eien?
When I first started to key in my thoughts for this post, these few words suddenly popped in my mind, thus making it the tittle for today's post.
I know its my 2nd post for today, but the 1st one was for Romeo X Juliet, so it doesn't count.
Back to the few words.
It means, "What is love? Is it eternal?"
These were spoken by Syouta, Kagome's brother in the anime series, InuYasha.
Yes, everything I think of has an origin, which is mostly anime.
Please do not jump to conclusions that I am falling in love.
Perhaps I am just moved by Romeo X Juliet.
Okay. So today, I'm clearing my thoughts.
It might sound like a lot of meaningless crap, so either skip it, or deal with it.
I quote the song LOVE CHRONICLE from FULL MOON WO SAGASHITE.
Aisaretai kara Aishitai wake jyanai...
Just because I want to be loved, doesn't mean I want to fall in love...
How true.
But when we fall in love, we don't always realize it, do we?
And sometimes when we think we do, we find out we're wrong.
Up till now, my friends have been saying I really like this guy...
And now I can be assured that they were wrong.
Because what I really liked wasn't him.
It was the memories.
I loved being together with everyone.
It feels like finding a family, one different than the one I already have and cherish.
Perhaps it was because it was awhile since I last felt like that.
Ever since primary school, leaving my first school, it was hard to find a place to belong.
I felt like I was alone, most of the time.
But come to think of it, I was NEVER alone.
And I am thankful for that.
The world is a funny place isn't it?
We are all like onigiri-s.
We can see the good qualities of someone else's but its hard to see our own.
Just like an onigiri, whose umeboshi is always on its back.
Maybe that's why...
But this isn't my theory as well, it's Honda Tohru's. (Fruits Basket)
Have you ever had the feeling of sadness that comes all-too-suddenly?
Like, you're having a happy moment and suddenly, time pauses for a second, only just a second and then, you feel this excruciating sadness in your chest, a pang of guilt, knowing that the happiness you're having is not going to last long?
Because that's what I'm feeling right now. And if I don't express myself, I'll probably still feel that way. And I don't want to.
Ahh... I feel much better now.
Now I can tell myself,
"So what if happiness is only temporary?"
I'll learn to make the most of it while it lasts.
And no matter what, i won't regret.
No matter how sad I might ever feel... I won't cry anymore.
Because, yappari... A smile suits me best, doesn't it?
And besides, if I were to surrender to regret, I have tons of things to regret on. But since I've looked on the bright side of them, there's not that many for me to regret upon now.
Mirai... The Future.
Such an amazing word. Such a nice thing to look forward to.
I've always been afraid to grow up, because I know as time passes, some people we love might just dissapear.
But now, I know.
They won't dissapear.
They'll live for eternity, embedded in the many fragments of my memories.
Datte, sore ga koi nan deshou?

Mood: A bit sad after watching the last episode of Romeo X Juliet.
Today's post is going to be all about Romeo X Juliet.

And, NO, I am NOT talking about a William Shakespeare original play...
Not exactly anyway...
I'm talking about the anime Romeo X Juliet.

screenshot from opening...

Romeo Candorebanto Montague & Juliet Fiammata Asto Capulet

Still Romeo X Juliet...

Tybalt

Francisco (Blonde), Red Whirlwind (middle), Romeo (upper right) and Curio (Lower right)

And from all the comments posted, I agree that this one is SO MUCH BETTER than Shakespeare's original work... (No offence to Shakespeare's fans) It ended much more nicely.

The opening song is Inori / Prayer, explaining the tittle of today's post. Some of you might know it as YOU RAISE ME UP, except this is the Japanese version.

Although the ending was expected, (Romeo & Juliet doesn't 'LIVE' happily ever after) I never expected it to make me cry so much. It's been quite awhile since I last cried watching an anime this good.
I give it a 5/5 rating... so YOU should watch it too ^^
Here's a brief summary just to capture your attention:

This series takes place in Neo Verona, a continent floating in mid air. It is attacked and you see Juliet's parents get murdered by the not-so-sane Montague, who takes over the throne. A Pegasus knight, Sir Conrad, manages to rescue Juliet and her best friend, Cordelia and flees from the Keep.
Now, 13 years later, (if I'm not mistaken) they're still searching for the lost Capulet girl, Juliet Fiammata Asto Capulet (I LOVE her name, it sounds so grand) They've captured a girl with red hair and are about to capture her for execution but a mysterious character in red robes comes to the rescue. His name is Red Whirlwind (Akai Kaze).

He gets the guards attention and they start chasing after him. As he is making his escape, he drags a girl, Cordelia, with him and soon reaches a dead end. Romeo, who is having tea at the Keep nearby with his best friend, Benvolio rescues Red Whirlwind and Cordelia on the Pegasi. Cordelia and Red Whirlwind, reluctantly thanked the two for their help and goes back to their hideout.

Turns out, they live in a some sort of ruin with their comrades, Francisco (handsome and charmingly reminds me of Legolas from LOTR), Curio, Conrad, Willy / William (who is actually a caricature of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE in this show as he writes down Romeo and Juliet's story), Emilia and Antonio.

Alone in his room, Red Whirlwind takes of his costume and later, his WIG, revealing long, red hair. Turns out, Red Whirlwind is JULIET. (No big surprise there...) But it seems like few know of this, not even Antonio knows. Apparently, Juliet will only be told of the reason why she has to pretend to be a guy ONLY on her seventeenth birthday.
Anyway, she fell in love with Romeo (his full name's Romeo Candorebanto Montague... Beautiful name!!) after attending the Montague Rose Ball dressed as a girl in place of her friend Emilia, only managing to introduce herself when they meet again in a field of irises.

(NOTE: The flower of the Capulets is the iris, while the flower of the Montagues is the rose)
If you find it interesting so far, you should probably watch it...
And to all BLEACH FANS out there,
on 22 DEC 2007
the second BLEACH movie will be airing in Japan.
BLEACH; THE DIAMOND DUST REBELLION, ANOTHER HYOURINMARU
Till then...
BENEATH THE IRIS BANNER!

.:: PoST PMR No KiMoCHi // THe FeeLiNG'S oF PoST PMR ::.

Mood: Nanka TSUMARANAIIII NO YO!!!!!!!!!!
A bit tired after watching Hanazakari No Kimitachi till 3am last night.

Comments about this show...?

Kinda funny and enjoyable. I'll give it a 4/5 rating.
Sano and Mizuki make such a cute couple.

Nakatsu is soo funny.
Kagurazaka's not bad either.

It ended a bit too fast though. Gonna miss this series.

Argh... Post PMR feels kinda weird.
Sit around loafing all day with nothing much to do.
After watching too much anime, my conscience still urges me to study, feeling guilty.
Then again, there's no real need for it now.
And to top it all off, WEIRD dreams...
like Cik Rohanizah teaching me how to do ringkasan,
my parents telling me PMR's still 5 days away...

The effect hasn't really wore off yet. Considering that I didn't get to freak out before PMR, this is probably what I was supposed to feel before.
Crapping a lot. Bleh.

Finally managed to finish one chapter of Winter's Gift. It's on my site Pink Wind.
Though, it was supposed to be a one-shot. This time it feels weird because usually, I already know the ending to every story I write before writing it. Then, all i have to do is connect the dots and make the story reach the ending. This time, I only thought
of it halfway, beginning and NO ending.

Though, I must say I've had fun...

Let's see...

Last WEDNESDAY, grandma taught me how to make some more oiishi dishes...

On THURSDAY, we went to GENTING HIGHLANDS...
Considering it was low peak season, there weren't many people so we got to go on all the rides that usually have exageratively long lines.

1. That swing thingy...?

2. That kiddy aeroplane ride...? (okay, this one was just to kill time)

Me and younger sis

3. Go Kart
This one was off-the-hook. I finished first, beating Mum and Pinky... Yay ^^

(oops!)

4. Rolling Thunder Mine Train
This one's really nice. I mean, the swerving alomost 90 degrees was enjoyable.
Half the time I was afraid of bumping my head because the caves were kinda low.

(blurr)

5. Bumper Car
My personal fav ^^

6. Cyclone
7.Flying Coaster
8. Motion Master

And on FRIDAY, it was time to come home.

I can't believe I'm going to KL again tomorrow.
It feels weird to be travelling so much.

Then again, it's only a short period of time before I have to go back to studying, so i have to cherish it properly.

Ta-da! We've reached the end of this post. Jya Ne!~
SANO IZUMI~! Kawaii!~

I can't believe I'm stuck blogging about bishie... *swtdrop*

.:: Hajimari No Kaze // Winds of Beginning ::.

Mood: I miss Seiran.

[SPOILER: Seiran is also the previous Prince Seien]

Young Shuurei and Seiran (GYaaaaaaH!!)

*ahem*

This is probably the most popular thing to hear from Form 3s right now.

PMR's over.

Yet, why am I feeling a bit down about it.

Three reasons:
1.
Things are gonna get harder from now on.
2. Some people are going to be leaving the school after this year.
3. I miss those lovely times I had in the past two years.

Other than that, Im great.

So anyway, right after PMR on Friday, I started watching Saiunkoku Monogatari (known as Colourcloud Palace on Animax)

Since then, I've been crazing over Shi Seiran or in truth, the actual Prince Seien.
He reminds me so much of Syaoran and he's so kakkoii! Definitely adding him to my "Gyah! Gyah! Bishonen List". Ryuuki's not that bad either, considering that they're siblings.

What I can't stop laughing at is Ran Ryuuren. For an eccentric, he's still so kakkoi! Haha... okay... have to stop blogging about bishie...

Anyways, on FRIDAY : 5 OCT 2007

Mum took us all to KL. Well, there wasn't really any plans, it was just random. Typical Mum.
We went ice-skating at Sunway Pyramid. Unfortunately, the socks i used were too thin. The resulting blisters were no joke. And while skating, an idea hit me to write another story, which I plan to complete soon. It's gonna be a 'one-shot' entitled "Winter's Gift". Unless I think of a better tittle, that one's gonna be it.

Next, at night, the most unbelievable thing happened. Mum took us to watch two movies in a row at GSC in Midvalley.
Note: This has not happened before.

So, it was HAIRSPRAY at 9.20pm till 11.20pm.
And THE SEEKER from 11.30pm to... I lost track of time.
Not going to include spoilers for both shows, but both were great shows.
*claps for the director (whom i know nothing of)*

We were exhausted and by the time we had our supper, it was 3am.
Not really good for health, is it?

*ahem*

So ANYWAY, on Sunday, we went for BURGER KING before sending Pink back to KYUEM.
She's gonna be back this Thurs for Raya hols.
Somehow, by the time we reached Kuantan, it was already 1.30am.

Still, the next morning...
8 OCT 2007

I went to school.
I know it sounds crazy, but I love school. Its fun.

And since PMR's over, we get to play games.
A few rounds of UNO and Cheat were satisfying.
Also, I got to play CONGKAK after so long. That was a 3-times-in-a-row win ^^

They called us for prefects meeting and told us that there was a FREE trip sponsored by the pengetua as a GANJARAN for us. To PULAU PANGKOR.

Then later, when I went over to help Mr Chan with his typing, we were told that all receivers of "SIJIL WARNA" or "BADAN SU" could go for a FREE trip to LANGKAWI / KUALA LUMPUR. It suddenly seemed that there were a lot of trips for me to go... ^^

Owh yea, and there was a PAHANG RIVER CRUISE. It was a really busy day.

Sabrina, who was typing, suddenly screamed 'cos she said there was a lizard on her leg. Datin Ezizah said the same. Well, since lizards are CUTE for me... I went looking around for it.

TURNS OUT THAT...

it WASN'T a lizard.

When I found it, it was something WAY CUTER! A baby MONITOR LIZARD.
Gosh! It was so adorable especially with its lovely yellow dots on its coat and its snake-like tongue. I can't imagine why Sabrina and the others are disgusted by it.

After Mr Chan and Cikgu Azlan got it out of the room, we continued typing.
Until around 1.30pm.

Then, back to playing in the hall.

It was a great day.

9 OCT 2007

After another wonderful day at school, I was stuck at the computer screen.
1. Watching Saiunkoku Monogatari
2. Typing out Winter's Gift.

Also, I'm still trying to make a choice of whether I should enter KUIZ SEJARAH and KUIZ ASEAN or only KUIZ SEJARAH. It's a tough choice to make, but I'll make sure that KUIZ PERDANA's most definitely not in my options. It's kinda boring to be studying about the Perdana Menteri's and Vice PMs compared to studying about the country and the history of 10 ASEAN countries, right?

Owh yea, today's tittle is Hajimari No Kaze because...

That's the opening song for SAIUNKOKU MONOGATARI.
It's a really lovely song.
http://www.animelyrics.tv/anime/saiunkokumonoga/
(Anime) Saiunkoku Monogatari: hajimari no kaze

vocal: hirahara ayaka

hajimari no kaze yo todoke messeeji
itsudemo anata wo shinjite iru kara
let this first wind deliver my message
because I'm always believing you

ano toki yume ni miteita sekai ni tatte iru no ni
miwatasu keshiki ni ashi wo sukoshi sukumase
dakedo ushiro furimukanaide aruite yuku koto kimeta kara
miageta sora nanairo no niji anata mo mitemasu ka
although I'm standing in this world I've dreamt of back then
my legs tremble a bit at the vast scenery I see
but I decided to walk on without looking back so
are you seeing the same rainbow in the sky I see as I look up

hajimari no kaze yo todoke messeeji
yume ni kakedashita senaka mimamoru kara
maiagaru kaze yo omoi wo tsutaete
itsudemo anata wo shinjite iru kara
habatake mirai e
let this first wind deliver my message
because I'll watch over your back as you run to your dream
let this rising wind deliver my feelings
because I'm always believing you
fly to the future

tatoeba taisetsu na hito wo mune ni omou toki wa
daremo ga kitto yasashii kao wo shiteru hazu
michi wa toki ni hateshinaku te mo akiramezu ni iku yo
for example, when I think of someone important in my heart
everyone should have a kind look on their faces
even if the path may seem endless at time, I'll go without giving up

hajimari no kaze yo todoke messeeji
harukana tabiji no sono saki de matteru
maiagaru kaze yo unmei mo koete
negai wa todoku to shinjirareru kara
itsuka mata aeta nara ano egao misete
let this first wind deliver my message
I'll be waiting at the end of your long journey
let this rising wind overcome even fate
because I can believe that this wish will reach you
show me that smile when we meet again

hajimari no kaze yo todoke messeeji
harukana tabiji no sono saki de matteru
maiagaru kaze yo unmei mo koete
negai wa todoku to shinjirareru kara
osoreru mono nado nai anata ga iru kara
let this first wind deliver my message
I'll be waiting at the end of your long journey
let this rising wind overcome even fate
because I can believe that this wish will reach you
because I'm with you, there's nothing to fear

Well, that ends today's post. Minna,
SELAMAT HARI RAYA

.:: i See DoTS::.

Mood: I know I should be freaked out cos PMR is 14 days away... But Im fine, aside from the fact that i cant eat all the delicious food around me.

14 days to PMR.

I keep repeating that to myself everyday, subtracting a day for each one that passes.

Expecting my fear to jump into action soon.

But somehow, my "fear" gene is failing me.

Eventhough that is what I totally need right now to boost me up from "relax & holiday" mode to "study-like-mad" mode. At the very least, I hoped to have switched to "cram-info" mode, but its hopeless.

And the day before yesterday... it turns out that the RED mark on my neck wasn't a mosquito bite...

It wasn't even an insect bite.

Just when I thought I've escaped from my sister's "chicken pox" virus after recovering from that fever last week, I was wrong. Turns out the RED mark was a chicken pox.

No wonder I was feeling dizzy and heaty in school. I still can't immagine how I did my "pra-PMR".

Anyways, here are my not-so-good results for TRIALS:
6A1B

BM: P1 28/40 + P2 91/100 = 85%
BI: P1 37/40 + P2 43/50 +P3 10/10 = 90%

Science: P1 34/40 + P2 56/60 = 90%
KH: 90%
Maths: P1 40/40 + P2 53/60 = 93%
History: 83%
Geography: 78%

and for that "PRA PMR"

still 6A1B

BM: 78%
BI: 98%
History: 98%
Maths: 90%

Science: 88%
KH: 83%
Geography: 86%

Notice the kinda freaky fact that I always have at least a pair of matching marks...

(reminds me of having Amiboshi and Suboshi like in the Seiryuu Seven... I want Suzaku Seven!!)

So tomorrow, it's NO SCHOOL for me. Normally, this is where someone would scream, "YAY!", but I love going to school... So I'm kinda sad.

Owh yea... I've watched CAT RETURNS.

The reason it reminds me so much of Spirited Away is because its produced by Studio Ghibli, same as Spirited Away... (If I remember correctly... that is)

Also, I've noticed how cute TACKEY (TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI) is while watching him sing in Music Station today. (They say it's live but today's broadcast was actually somewhat in August) Tackey is from Tackey & Tsubasa, a famous band.

After during a little "research" on Wikipedia, was amazed to find that Tackey & Tsubasa was a group from Johnny's Jimusho. It's the first time I've heard of J.Jimusho as well.

Apparently, all the great J-Pop guy bands are from there too.

This includes my favourite V6, ARASHI, TOKIO, KAT-TUN...
Even Hey!Say!7 and Kis-My-FtII!! (okay, they sounded okay on Music Station)

Johnny's Jimusho is a talent agency that was established by Kitagawa Johnny and his sister Mary back in the early 60's. It has dominated the Japanese boy band market ever since. Just about all the top male groups on Japanese television today are members of this stable. Most of them not only dominated the music industry, they are also known for appearing everywhere from dramas to TV commercials.

Johnny's Jr. consists of young boys, probably around early teens, being "trained" to sing and dance. When they reach a certain age they move on to debut as part of a group, duo, trio or even solo. Most "juniors-in-training" end up being back up dancers for their seniors who already debuted. The Juniors are divided into groups with leaders. Takizawa Hideaki, Imai Tsubasa and Kimura Takuya are some examples of past Johnny's Jr. leaders. The current junior leader is Yabu Kota.

Didn't see that coming...

Well... Have to get back to work after sleeping the whole day... I know someone who'll spit fire on me if I don't... XP

but one last "GYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to Tackey!

*ahem*

Mood: Kinda bored, sitting around doing nothing.

Since I had nothing better to do, I drew a picture. I decided to place her in my new novel that I'm planning to write soon enough. Maybe after PMR Trials. Okay fine. After PMR.

Romaji Lyrics Translation

Kusubutteta mune ni nage irero fire!!
Chiheisen e kokoro tobasu nda
throw in the fire into the smoked heart
I'll throw my feeling to the equator

Kara mawari no kimochi o keri agetara
Saki ni iku ze Tsugi no furontia
after kicking up the feeling that has been running in circles
we'll go to the next frontier before you

Kanau sa Kanau Hakkaten wa mou sugu da ze
Dekiru Dekiru sa Bakuhatsu shite miseru nda
Burn up'n go!!
come true, it'll come true the point of ignition is right there
it's possible, it can be done I'll show that I can explode
burn up'n go!!

Gomibako o tobi koeta saki ni aru mirai

Michi ga michiteru furontia e
Hashiri tsuzukeru nda "Kimi o tsurete"
the future that's beyond the trash can
gather the light and get a fire power!!
burn up, the power of the eyes
with the unstoppable courage get a fire power!!
to the frontier full of roads
I continue to run "taking you along"

Housoku nante hatsumei surya ii ndaro?
Jibun katte mo tama ni hitsuyou sa
rules can just be invented, right?
selfishness is needed sometimes

Iu koto kike!! Nige dashita kunaru my heart!!

listen to me!! my heart that wants to run away!!
there are things that must be done alone

Doko kara Doko e Toki wa nagareteku ndarou?
Wakaru Wakaru sa Gimon wa yamanai kedo ne
Get up'n go!!
from where and to where does time flow?
know, we'll know although the questions will never end
get up'n go!!

the time that's beyond the stairs
with the excited heartbeat get a fire power!!

with a greater hotness get a fire power!!
to the frontier full of roads
I continue to run "taking you along"

Mood: Kinda happy considering the fact that it rained today.
The tittle says it all. Its REPORT CARD DAY. For some reason, some people are usually scared when this day comes.
Not me.
Mainly because my parents usually don't turn up. Usually. But today, Dad was free, so he decided to come after all.
I'm still not feeling scared though.
First period was English. Pn Wong BB turned up unexpectedly. She was supposed to be on some course till next week. But still, we didn't study because:
1. Muslims (96% of my class and school) had their Solat Hajat
2. It was Report Card Day.
So the non-muslims gathered at the TMK Lab. (It's a computer lab)
Went through the net and stuff like that. Email mainly.
Later, it was PJ. And the Muslims had just finished their prayers. So me and Gaaya went to play netball. (Originally wanted to play badminton but I forgot to bring racket...)
After a nice game of netball, (4:0) we went to the hall to see whether there was any extra rackets.
A lot of people were playing in the hall, though. Faqar and Zulhilmi were nice enough to lend us their rackets. So we played till Dad arrived.
And then, it was time to leave after hearing the nice comments my teacher told my dad. I'm still dead embarassed by the fact that I got only 26th in the whole form. Imagine, 9th in class. My results are horrible this time. Have to work on that. Mainly because I only had 2 days to study everything thanks to Parlimentary Debate. But those are just excuses.
What made me really happy was, just as I entered my house, it started RAINING. I just love rain. It speaks to me. If you listen closely enough, you can hear the soothing song it sings.
So mainly spent the whole day lazing around the house, since it was a Friday. (Actually I took a nap, till 6pm) Then I played Fire Emblem on GBA. The support conversations are really nice.
Finally, I continued a bit more of Miracles Happen. (It's a novel I'm working on.)
Its been ages since I last wrote in it.
After being satisfied with the current chapter, I printed out some song lyrics and the piano sheet for KONOYA NO UTA- SAYA'S SONG from BLACK CAT. It's surprisingly easy to play.
Mum took us all for supper at ALIF. I think I saw Arif there... XP
Then, it was a nice, warm bath before being tucked in my soft, comfy bed. the lyrics of SOBAKASU (Freckles) from RUROUNI KENSHIN were playing endlessly in my head the whole night through. Oh crap, forgot that there's open book test tomorrow! Oops!

Mood: A bit exhausted after finishing stacks of homework that has accumulated on my desk. Explains why I haven't been blogging. This post was supposed to be published on 6th July 2007.

Today, I had to go re-bind my folio... Many sarcastic thanks to my teacher, who utterly spoilt it by exposing it to the hot rays of the sun by putting it at the back of the car. Imagine, the comb was straight when I got it back! And because of that, I was late for school. (I'm rarely late)

So anyway, everyone is expecting the students from Eltham College to arrive anytime soon. They're from Australia and are on a trip. They just visited Taman Negara and our school's their last stop in Malaysia. After doing some last minute adjustments to my folio, I handed it to my friends to help me hand it in later. (Thanks, Wen Jun and Rusydah!!) Then, went straight to the hall where we had prepared an exhibition of traditional items.

For those of you who don't know, that's what a gamelan looks like. (the two thingy in front)

There were a lot of traditional games as well, some that I miss playing... Like congkak, batu seremban... and another game that I didn't know of. Then sepak takraw guys were playing at the back of the hall, including Hisyam. Amalen was stuck on one of the tables playing some game that used bottle caps. (I forgot the name for that one)

Priya, Nantini and Thanusha were practicing the Indian traditional dance after the form 2 girls did the Chinese traditional dance which used fans and umbrellas. (I can't believe Pri can flip the fan with her left hand and I can't!)

Anyway, I was supposed to go to bilik Al-Hikmah and take part in the welcoming of the students, but Azreeza placed me in the hall. Oh well... at least Pri and Thanu are here.

At last, around 9 something, they arrived. They went into the bilik Al-Hikmah. Around 10.30am, they came over to the hall. The tour was canceled due to lack of time. After watching the tradisional dances, I got to know Sarah. She's really friendly ^^

Okay, this is embarassing, but I took her to the wrong canteen. Haha... They were having it at the asrama canteen and I took her to the school canteen instead. Well, at least I didn't take her to a wrong school... XP Anyway, we had lunch at the girl's asrama. I didn't feel much like eating, after eating biscuits... XP I had a nice cup of teh tarik instead.

We all went round asking for emails and taking pictures. It was really enjoyable.

After that, we had time to go on a tour around the school after all. We went to Husna's class and then walked pass all the form 3 classes. You should see the response of the guys in my class. XP

After all that, we gathered at the sulop. We took a lot of pictures here.

Me and Sarah ^^

Mood: *swtdrop-ing*

[13-14 June 2007]
Well, guess the pictures do tell a million words.
After 1 day after being told...

I set out to Lipis. Miss Wai drove us all the way there.
And on our way, we passed by a lot of cows and trees and possibly, some unseen monkeys.
There was also a squirrel. The reason this is all I can say is because, that's all I saw along the way.

Might sound a bit insulting, but the roads there were VERY ULU.
We reached there around 5pm and had to go register at PPD Lipis.

The whole place was like a huge maze. Luckily, we had a couple to drive us there.

We took a twin single bedroom at Centrepoint.

We had to walk quite far just to find a chinese restaurant. And the only restaurant that was open, had only one miserable chicken sitting inside.

Apparently, all the chinese shops close earlier than 5pm. Great news.

After doing some shopping at a so-called "pasaraya" we went back to the room. I had to practice a few times. By 7pm, everyone was tucked into bed with pyjamas.

I slept at 10pm after sitting 3 hours in bed, watching some weird shows on the TV. I mean, who would actually do a documentary show about gays and lesbians...? And who's face is so thick to actually WANT to be interviewed as a lesbian / gay...?

Woke up around 6 am in the morning. Swallows can be seen flying outside the windows. (a mass amount, at that.)

Anyway, arrived at the hall of SMK Clifford safely. This is the 1st competition I attended that actually started without any LONG speeches. I like it.

I was the 9th participant and after called, I went up to deliver my speech, "Hakuna Matata"
Don't ask.

After the short break, we were quarantined in the room. I got to meet a lot of the public speakers there. Everyone was so friendly and we were engrossed in chatting, it felt like a long time before I had to go up on stage.

I told my teacher before the competition. "if they give a tittle that had something to do with Malaysia, I'm just going to tell the lady to disqualify me."

And as luck would have it, it DID have something to do with Malaysia.
"If you were the Chief Minister of a state, what would you do to make Visit MALAYSIA 2007 a success in your state?"

I wanted to faint. And the irritating part was, the lady in front of me wouldn't stop announcing how many minutes I have left. I mean, I know I only have 4 minutes!!

I crapped whatever I could on stage.

And... I kinda unbelievably won.

My mum was like, "Who was the one moaning about not wanting to go...?"

Anyway, reached home around 5pm. Was dead tired. Folios, homework and many more were awaiting me the next day.

[20 June 2007]
So, anyway, today I missed school because I wasn't feeling well... I am so dead tomorrow. Don't know which DUMMY went and told teacher I'm for sure to have stomach ache.

Oh well.
