Though I'm not against the idea of going

.:: 幼い頃; Those Childhood Days ::.
Mood: Feeling nostalgic over the past.
Is it just me, or does everyone have
mixed feelings before going to college?
Before, I would've never noticed
that going to college was such a big step forward.
I mean, from the eyes of a 6 year old,
it's just like advancing to the next step in life,
like moving from primary to secondary school.
If so, then it should be relatively easy right?
Though I'm not against the idea of going
to college, (pretty excited actually),
at the same time, a small part of me
is hesitant and wants to stay at home.
Guess a child still exists within me somewhere,
I'm already thinking about how homesick
I'll be when I'm there. Haha.
Though I do get the feeling that I won't be that
homesick once I adapt to college life,
I do know that college will change me,
in more ways than one.
So anyways, yesterday after packing
(in other words, adding a few more stuff into
my half-full lugage), me and my sister
youtubed all those cartoons we watched when
we were younger (like when she was 7 and I was 2).
There were so many cartoon titles that I have almost forgotten,
but once the opening song played, I could
remember the tune. :)
Like for example:
1. Where is Carmen Sandiego?
2. SWAT Kats
3. Double Dragon
4. Kimba the White Lion! :P
5. Ghost busters
6. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
(Okay this is not a cartoon, but I was obsessed with
Power Rangers once-- figurines, costumes etc)
In fact, I still remember my favourite rangers;
Tommy (White) and Kimberly (Pink)
Yes, I was a Power Rangers nut :D
7. Mummies Alive
8. Duck Tales
9. Scooby-Doo!
10. Gargoyles
(This one appears to be a more recent version)
God I used to be a huge fanatic of this series.
I remembered mimicking the way they walk
and stuff- haha!
Well, those were 10 cartoons that I used to watch in
the past, not including all those Disney classics;
Lion King, Bambi, Snow White etc
I miss them all so much!
In fact, I missed Gargoyles so much that I practically
watched 6 whole episodes on youtube
yesterday night and I'm continuing this morning. :D
Yes, the wonders of cartoons.
It makes me feel like building a time machine to
go back. But then again, who says that
we have to be 6 year-olds to love
all the cartoons that I mentioned above?
Guess I've got to quote Aya;
I can cry all I like, but I can never return
to the past. Even though I've become like this,
I'm still me. I want to like the 'me' that I am right now.
(Tears still threaten to well up whenever I
re-watch or even listen to 1 Litre of Tears' OST.
Yes, it was THAT touching.)
Well, UCSI, here I come.
Not as an adult, not as a teenager, not as a child.
Just as Me. Because that's all that I wanna be.

.:: Cardcaptor Sakura ::.
Remember that show you used to/ might have (or not)
watched when you were younger,
where a certain girl opened a book
and read the name of the card, "WINDY"
and all the cards flew away, blown by the wind.
And then the guardian of those Clow Cards woke up
and then named you a Cardcaptor after releasing the key
of the book, invoking the powers of the Sun and the Moon.
After that, she goes through a test set by another guardian
under the sign of the Moon, Yui.
And finally attains her own power,
unique to her; the power of the Stars.
Ring any bells?
Yes! Cardcaptor sakura!

my June holidays first,
but couldn't wait since this seemed to
be so much cuutttteeerr!
I've been playing the GBA game since two days ago,
for like half an hour each day and it's been pretty lovely
so far! It's full of Syaoran X Sakura,
actually mostly Syaoran being jealous about Eriol.
Here's a few screenshots from my GBA.
Of course it's in Japanese, so I'll translate. :D
So anyways, here the story starts after Sakura has
attained her own power, all the Clow Cards have been
caught and her staff is now the shape of the Star.
She goes to school for her morning duty and
being by herself she starts singing, when...
Syaoran comes in for his morning duty and coughs.
Sakura's reaction: Hoeeeee!!
Then they start chatting about their holidays
and then Sakura asks Syaoran whether it's
true whether he's going back to Hong Kong,
and Syaoran says yes, since he has completed his duties
here and he has to report back to his mother
about the new owner of the cards.

What are you going to do? Sakura-Chan
#1. I see, that's good.
#2. I'll be lonely. (something like I'll miss you.)
I chose #2.
[Bottom]
Sakura: Li-kun, just when we finally became good friends.
Sakura: I'll be lonely
Yup! That's a cute heart shape!
And your happiness bar goes up!
Syaoran: (blushes) Not really,
it's not like we'll never
see each other again, right?
Sakura: Yup, I guess that's so.
I'm glad.
And score one for Syaoran's blushes! :D
Later on, after Eriol comes in,
the next day, Sakura meets him
in class after school.
(You get to choose where to go)
Eriol: A smile suits you best, Sakura-san.
(He says this after giving Sakura some flowers)
And... Enter Syaoran's irritated/jealous moment!
Well, guess that's all I'll post today,
I'll most definitely come up with more! :D
And for now, GBA time!!

.:: When I was just a little girl... ::.
Remember the times when you were younger,
When the world seemed a much simpler place,
When you didn't have to carry everything on your own shoulder,
and you could do things at your own pace.
As you grow up, you search and dig a little deeper,
To search for who you're meant to be, what you're meant to do,
With each passing day, you try and try harder,
Until the world decides to turn against you
Whatever happened to justice and fairness?
Whatever happened to the laws of right and wrong?
Cause all I see right now is disappointment and sadness,
All hidden behind a melancholic song
When I was just a little girl,
All I saw was a wonderful world,
With the wonders of the people in it,
And the kind things that each of them did.
And now, when I'm all grown up and still ageing,
I began to see so many different things,
Things I wish I'd still be blind to,
those horrible things that people can do.
When I was just a little girl,
Everything seemed right in this world,
We do things right and others will too,
But now, that's something only a child will do.
And now, that I'm no longer that little girl,
I can't help but wonder what happened to that world,
The one I used to know and love so much,
How could it have changed and become as such?
Somewhere, right now, a flame of hope's nearly dying,
And pearls of tears are waiting to trail down her cheeks,
But yet, she doesn't let them fall because she's still hoping,
Holding on, because she knows she's not weak.
Now, that I'm no more a little girl,
I can do my part to change this world,
Though one person like me can't do much of anything,
But having that resolution alone will keep me standing.
Come what may, try what you might,
You can never take away the vision that's set in my sight,
And the things I have said you shouldn't take light,
For someday, somehow, I'll win this fight.
And when I do, I hope that I can set things right.
Now all I can do is hope & pray,
And keep trying my best every day,
So hopefully when I wake up one day,
I'll see the world I once saw,
When I was just a little girl.
A/N: This was written randomly, with no reference
to anyone or anything. If you feel like I'm talking about you,
then that's not me that's pointing fingers;
it's your conscience.
I'm just expressing thoughts.
Mood: A little sleepy and tired due to the awful stomach ache
earlier, but other than that, well, it's all part of life.

.:: There's No Such Thing As Forever ::.
Mood: Kinda tired after coming back from school.
Ever since I went back to school,
I've been feeling something that I've missed
in quite a while.
The joy of learning something new in additional
math, the fun of being able to calculate
and make use of my neglected calculator
(I've got to admit my typing speed has decreased
greatly, but it'll just be a matter of time before
I'm myself again)
It feels great to have something different to do
after having so much free time to
do everything else.
Though the day passes by quickly,
it's always satisfying knowing that,
at the very least, I've done something today.
What about the future?
Owh, forget about it.
One step at a time, I'll get there someday.
And when I do, I'm not stopping there.
I'm going to keep moving forward.
P/S: Here's a quote-
I don't think its possible to love someone forever.
Because, for me, 'forever' doesn't exist.
I don't think 'eternity' exists either.
I wake up today, knowing that I love him,
the next day I do the same
and before I know it, it's been forever.
-Tachibana Oto
Yes, the awesome-ness of being able to
quote from anime. :D
