.:: 中国人の新年 ::.

Mood: A bit tired, but happy =)

I had an extremely hard time
trying to describe Chinese New Year to my Japanese friends.
So in the end I used: 中国人の新年
As in directly translating, Chinese's New Year.
but hey, at least they understood and actually
wished me happy Chinese New Year

Lols.
Anyway, as usual,
for CNY, we went back to Terengganu
as always. Had the huge family dinner.
Delicious.

I loved the soup, as always.
There was like tons of food,
so it was time to stuff myself lols!
But I had too much cheese cake before dinner,
only managed to eat a plate and a half. =(
[hey, the cheese cake was good, wasn't my fault!]

Anyways, at night, after emailing,
yes I do this almost EVERY night)
I went to watch fireworks and ended up playing firecrackers.
It was fun because I haven't done this
in a while.

(LOLs)

And like always, I don't get much sleep on CNY eve.
Mainly cause, the phone's really noisy that night,
due to the overflow of SMS-es coming in
for me and each of my family members.
Thanks a lot all of you! -- in a good way)

Next morning, new clothes -- like that isn't obvious enough!
Started out eating breakfast and stuff,
a little TV
and before we left the house to go hunting for red packets,
we took a family picture.

Income was pretty much the same as always,
I just loved the satay at one of my relatives' houses.
And this year, I ate a hell lot more.
(for some reason)
And I know for a fact that I've been
eating way too much cookies during the whole two days there.
(like a cookie goblin)

Got caught taking pictures of dinner! (the night before) =x

Family pic!

2nd family picture =)

Satay! =D

Just us girls and an ET in Ben 10 shirt.

Just so happy to get deli!

Isn't that cute? Hurt my conscience a bit to eat it.

Lols! Stuffing ourselves.

Can anyone see that bubble?

Anyway, we had a gorgeous steamboat dinner
at night before leaving for Kuantan.
Usually, we stay till the 2nd day of CNY,
but this time Pinky had to rush back for Uni on the 3rd day
because she doesn't have holiday for that.

Another reason's cause:
I wanted to meet my cousins!
It's been like one heck of a long time since I last met them,
so was kinda overjoyed. (a little)
We reached home around midnight and
like chatted around till 4am!
LOLs!

I showed them the Japan video I made,
and the KWN one and we camwhored a bit.
(okay, maybe quite a lot)
Then, they left for Rompin.

Me and my cousins.

Camwhoring again =D

For some reason, my face got blurred in this one.

The Ben 10 fanatics.

Me and Kevin.

Qian Li and Kevin.

Vincent, Resha and Qian Li

Me and Vin (this proves Qian Li's a bad photographer)

Us again. It's much clearer when Pinky's taking it.

Pinky, Qian Li and Vin with his 'muka mengada'

And that concludes Resha's CNY.

.:: Yiruma : River Flows into You ::.

Mood: Totally occupied.

I can't believe I barely have time to post.
Have to like buck up after CNY holidays.

I definitely have to make time.
Otherwise, when am I ever gonna watch my anime?
=P

Anyway, here's a clip of me playing River Flows into You by Yiruma.
Just cause during the JENESYS programme,
Ariel played this on the grand piano
and I fell in love with it.

Haven't completed learning it yet though,
didn't really get the piano sheets.
But so far so good, considering I haven't
learned piano for 5 years.
I guess I'm still lucky I can remember how to read notes.
=P

.:: ガアヤ-ちゃん,お誕生日をおめでとう! ::.

Mood: Happy to have met my best friend again.
At the same time, dissapointed, yet not
surprised by the behaviour of some.

Yesterday night, I went to Gaaya's house
for her belated birthday party.

Was hired as her secretary =P
Well, sorta.

Anyways, it was a blast.
Really missed her tons.
And Sabrina too =)

However, some people dissapointed me really badly.
And proved me right the one time I
wanted to be wrong.
Remember when I discussed about the Level E-s?
Met a few there, but plenty enough to
upset me.

But then again, I never mention names,
so rest assured.
I hope you enjoy what you're doing as a Level E
and hope you finally meet a day when you know what true friends are.
Good luck with that.

Anyways, scratch that unhappy thought.
Good news is Gaaya's happy, so that's all that matters.
And I finally finished my cyber-diary-like-video
about my trip to Japan.

Already sent it in for the report,
(finally decided to use it as my report)
and showed it to Gaaya yesterday.
Although, the rest of them did see it,
only like near the back,
because I figured they were too busy talking.
Will upload it ASAP.

Although, I think I still need to make adjustments
before I send it to my host family
as a sign of thanks. It was finished in a real rush,
so I have to touch it up a bit.
And for those who have already watched it,
YES, I did it by myself.
It took me a long week of no sleep, but it was worth it
because Japan was awesome.

We finally signed the SPM papers,
I'm still considering how many subjects to take,
but I've marked 12 at the moment.
Trying to negotiate with myself whether to add or subtract.
Because I definitely do not plan to limit
my co-curricular activities for SPM
.
Anyways, since the post tittle's
Happy birthday Gaaya,
here's the pictures.
Have to steal some from Aimi's Facebook later,
when my Facebook can finally get working.

Besties forever!

The whole group
[Kevin, Adele, Aimi, Amanda, Me, Gaaya, Priya,
Thanusha, Ummaira, Sabrina, Pinky & Wong]

Me, Gaaya, Amanda, Sabrina

Owh, and I'm like extra-super-happy
because Agnes finally got her internet fixed
so we can chat now!
I miss her sooo much now!!!
It was super fun being with her
and especially when we accidentally ended up
in a love shrine. >.<

Me and Agnes.  I definitely have to go to Australia someday.

And remember the special someone coming to Malaysia?
Haha, she's finally back in Japan now.
And since she had a great time,
I'm super happy too. Just got her email yesterday,
with a cute picture of her new friends with her.

Yesterday, I was staring at the sky at night
at the beautiful stars and couldn't help but
remember what a special someone said.
No matter how far we are apart,
we'll always be under the same sky.
It made me smile to notice that at that very moment,
a second star shone bright beside
that lonely star that I chose to resemble me.
You really have a way of doing things, don't you?

The wind is finally blowing once more,
and the me who was nearly losing my confidence,
is getting my doubts blown away.
Like a weed, so weak yet strong,
I will grow back even after being pulled out
countless times.

.:: 学校 ::.

Mood: I'm missing Japan more than ever now.
I keep thinking about my host family and school there.

Totally random picture taken in the morning. Lols.

School's finally started!!
Which led me to think of...

前橋南高校
[Maebashi Minami High School]

This was my school.
Now, I'm missing all my form mates.

(Mainly because we didn't stay put in one class,we moved throughout the form.

I was really glad to receive their email, its become a habit for me to check my email every night now.

Anyway, one more reason to miss my host mum
other than her being the kindest and most caring-
not-to-mention-awesome-super-host-mum she is,
is that bento she makes every morning for me to take to
school. She makes super cute ones.
So, not knowing what came over me,
I woke up early today and on the 1st day of school
to produce this:
Yeah, I know. It doesn't look all that great.
I forgot to get a bento bag home.
(That's not very smart of me)
And that's technically not the bento box I bought from Japan.
I'm keeping that one, haven't had the heart to use it yet.
SO anyway, because I forgot to get a bag,
I had to settle with the furoshiki wrapping techniques
Ishii-san showed us on the bus.
Life-saver! =P
Should have gotten a bigger hanky though.
And what's inside?
Ta-dah!

We don't cook rice in the morning like Japanese do, so have to make do with what I have.

Compare that to this:

Oka-san's bento. I already ate an onigiri before taking this picture.
Craps, I miss my Japan bentos!!

But anyway, its not like I'm complaining about
Malaysia because like I don't think
I can survive without all the spicy food Malaysia has to offer.
Yum.
Hrmm. So the post tittle's 'school' and
here I end up talking about food.
Geez. Way to go out of topic.
Owh well.
But now I'm keeping my fingers extra-crossed for a second
chance to return there.
And I'm still working on the video.
We're supposed to like pass up a report on this JENESYS Programme,
so I thought of using the video, but its still in progress.
Will I make the deadline?
It's time to be nocturnal again, I guess.

Here's a video of us doing air guitar at the welcome party
at the host community.

Credits to the table on which the camera was put on and Andrew who uploaded it.
I'm barely in the video (thank God) but I'm the one in
the red cheongsam (1st one to be dragged in).
And someone actually tore his jeans in this,
I'll leave that for you to guess who he is. =P
Look at Julie-sensei though (she's the one in the formal black dress)
Yeah, Gunma group rocks!

-あけましておめでとうございます!!-

Mood: なんかねむい。
[Feeling a bit sleepy]
Tittle says it all:
HaPPY NeW YeaR!
Can't believe Yuki's year's over.
This year's Hatsuharu's! Yay!
(Refer to Fruits Basket if you have no idea
of what I am talking about)
Well, for New Years,
I didn't exactly do much..
My family and I stayed up watching
Pirates and the Carribean 3 on HBO.
Hate the ending, so sad.
Well, 2008 has been a great year and
I wanna thank God for that.
I can't believe my Form 4 life ended so fast.
Well, good things pass by fast don't they?
I did so many things that I couldn't dream
of doing the years before.
And now, my Form 5 life is starting.
I have a feeling its going to be another exciting year.
As for SPM, well... it's just another exam,
(which happens to be the most important exam in my life)
so no biggie.
Let's see, my New Year's Resolutions:
1. Like always, I wanna be myself.
2. I want to do my best in everything.
3. I want to try and rank top 6 in the KWN Globals
so I can go back to Japan again.
4. I want to do well in SPM, but I'm not going to
limit my activities.
(It'll be too boring)
5. I want to enjoy this year! =)
And someone special's coming this 8th January,
so I hope she has a great time here!
