.:: SPoRTS DaY // aTaSHi No NaKa Ni NaGaReTe aRiGaTou, KaZe::.

Mood: Body aching all over the place. Muscles killing me... But I think I can deal with it.

Woke up around 6am this morning, which is unsual for me on a Sunday. The special reason was today is SPoRTS DaY.

Unlike every other Sports Day, this time, i was actually taking part in the running. A lot of people find this hard to believe, but owh well. Anyway, I was SUPPOSED to enter 200m and 4 X 100m and was kinda nervous because I have NEVER held a baton before. (NOTE: This was my FIRST time running in a race)

Sport's Day, like every other year since I can't recall when, was always held at Stadium Darul Makmur (The only stadium in Kuantan) This year, it has to start off a bit early because by 2.30pm another school will be using it. I reached there around 6.45am. Sabrina and Priya were already there. We waited for the rest till 7.00am before entering the stadium for registration.

This year's sport's day was a bit unique as it was the first time there were to be CHEERLEADERS for each House (also known as 'Primer' in my school). There were 4 Houses altogether, WAJA (Blue, also my House), WIRA (Yellow), KEMBARA (Red) and SATRIA (Green) It started of with the foot drills as all the uniformed units and the 4 Houses marched around the stadium. Then, the song Negaraku was sang and the prayers were read. By this time, the 1500m race had already ended. (This 1.5km race was also a new addition to this year's Sport's Day)

I was extremely nervous, but not too frightened as there was still some time before 200m and 4X100m. The teachers had already called out the 100m participants and were ready to start. They couldn't find the participant from WAJA and so I had to replace her. Luckily, Gaaya was also a participant, so I wasn't totally freaked out. When the gun was shot, all of us ran as fast as possible, but I ended up third last. It was nothing to be sad about, as I never expected winning anything in the first place. After returning from the 100m race, teachers called out for the 400m participants. I had no idea what happened to the WAJA participants from my category because this time NONE of the participants were there. Desperate to have at least someone to enter, I got dragged in by my House teacher who spotted me at once.

I reluctantly agreed, saying "Cikgu, kalau saya kalah tak apa kan, sebab takut tak larat..."

So anyway, the race began. I don't know what happened, but i WON 2nd for this race. Maybe I was better at long distances...? By the time I came back from 400m, the 200m race had already started, so I missed it. The 4 X 100m race went badly as my whole team ended up last. Then for 4 X 400m, I ended up PARTICIPATING as well... and we GOT 3rd!! So, at the end of the day, I managed to get 2 medals, one silver and bronze. Yay ^^

And that wasn't it... Apparently, I had strained my muscles and had to face an aching life for two whole days. Trust me, it was painful... But I guess, it was worth it... ^^ Looking forward to becoming scorers for SOFTBALL this whole week. (26/2 TUESDAY - 29/2 FRIDAY) And there's ST John exam this SUNDAY. That's something to be looking forward to... @.@

The tittle of this post means, thanks for always flowing in me, Wind.

.:: You'Re WiNGS oN MY HeaRT ::.

Mood: A bit tired.

Its been long since I last blogged. As most of you SHOULD have noticed, my blog's turned blue and the blog tittle holds more significance to me. (I think no one would know the reason though... haha)

Anyway... School has been recently fun and tiring, stressful and enjoyable.
I just feel like shouting out that I hate it when people look down on my abilities and dislike it when people think I could do better than what I'm doing. Not to complain, just a thought.

After entering the upper forms, I realised there's just so much I don't know. I really have a lot to learn about and the hunger for knowledge just intensely builds up inside of me. My senses are sharpening and I finally can hear the voices of my inner talents calling out to me. (Okay, this sounds absurdly poetical, but just bear with it for now.)

By the way, You're wings on my heart's the tittle for today because, well, since Valentine's day just passed, I was thinking lots about RAVE, the 3rd anime I watched and the ending song just keeps pouring into my mind. True serenity.
